Celem opracowania jest określenie istoty współczesnej specjalizacji o charakterze pionowym i jej wpływu poprzez wymianę handlową na integrację gospodarki światowej oraz zmianę pozycji poszczególnych regionów i gospodarek w powiązaniach handlowych. (fragment tekstu)

Changes in the nature of contemporary specialization in direction of vertical specialization cause that integration ties in the world economy are more and more deepened and make changes in its regional structure. The aim of this paper is analysis of contemporary vertical specialization and its consequences for the world economy integration and some regions and economies positions changes in the international trade. The main conclusion of trade indicators analysis is continuous increase in the interdependence of economies and growth of exports and the whole domestic production reliance on imports. The important effects of recent vertical specialization are also structural changes in the world economy due to some developing economies broad inclusion in the production and trade relationships.
