Abstrakty

Proces transformacji polskiej gospodarki, trwający już ponad dwie dekady, związany jest nieuchronnie z dużymi zmianami strukturalnymi w obrębie konsumpcji, inwestycji, handlu zagranicznego, ale przede wszystkim w zakresie produkcji dóbr i usług. Każdy sektor produkcyjny/usługowy rozwijał się w tym okresie w różnym tempie, mając odmienny wkład we wzrost polskiej gospodarki. Dziś ważna jest próba odpowiedzi na pytanie, które z sektorów miały największe znaczenie dla wzrostu polskiej gospodarki w ciągu minionych dwudziestu lat transformacji? W kontekście powyższego celem tego artykułu jest identyfikacja i analiza sektorów kluczowych, która w późniejszym etapie pozwoliłaby na stworzenie "mapy sektorowej". Wnioski z niej płynące mogłyby w przyszłości wesprzeć polską politykę sektorową.(fragment tekstu)

This article examines changes in the structure of the Polish economy based on three input-output tables for the Polish economy in the years 1995, 2000 and 2004. Using traditional methods proposed by P. Rasmussen (weighted and unweighted methods), the author identified in each year the forward and backward links among Polish sectors. Basing on the strength of three relationship in three years, the key sectors of the Polish economy were identified. Using the unweighted method of Rasmussen, the sectors of production and distribution of electricity, gas and water, transport sector and chemical and pharmaceuticals sector were ranked among the leaders of key sectors in the Polish economy. However, the results of analysis using a weighted method of Rasmussen, taking into account the role of industries in creating added value and their share in final demand, the analysis shows the services industries (construction, trade) as a locomotive of the Polish economy (original abstract)
