Organizacje wciąż poszukują możliwości maksymalizacji swojej efektywności. W literaturze przedmiotu stosowanych jest wiele podejść teoretycznych stanowiących użyteczny punkt wyjścia do analizowania problematyki efektywności. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie argumentów każdej z trzech perspektyw: uniwersalistycznej, sytuacyjnej i instytucjonalnej, przemawiających za możliwościami poprawy efektywności organizacji i zwiększania szansy na jej przetrwanie.(abstrakt oryginalny)

Organizations are continuously looking for possibilities to maximize their effectiveness. Literature contains many theoretical perspectives which are useful for analyzing the issue of effectiveness. Therefore, the aim of this article is to present the arguments for each of the three perspectives: universalistic, contingency, and institutional, which may create opportunities to improve the effectiveness of the organization and increase its chance to meet the market demands.(original abstract)
