Abstrakty

Autor artykułu ma na celu przedstawienie rezultatów badań związanych z oceną ekonomiczną inwestycji w projekty informatyczne polegające na wdrożeniu systemów klasy ERP i CRM w Polsce. Autor przeprowadził badania ankietowe wśród 250 wybranych przedsiębiorstw. Wybór takiego celu i zakresu badań po pierwsze pozwala na wgląd w mało zbadany temat dot. oceny ekonomicznej projektów informatycznych polegających na wdrożeniu systemów ERP, CRM wśród polskich przedsiębiorców i kadry zarządzającej. Po drugie, ma na celu empiryczną weryfikacje sposobów oceny ekonomicznej wybranych typów projektów informatycznych bardzo istotnych dla funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstwem. Prezentowane w niniejszym artykule wyniki badań powinny być przydatne zarówno teoretykom informatyki gospodarczej jak również praktykom, którzy profesjonalnie zajmują się wdrażaniem systemów informatycznych wspierających zarządzanie. Znajomość zagadnień dotyczących analizy oceny ekonomicznej inwestycji w systemy ERP, CRM może mieć korzystny wpływ na decyzje podejmowane w ramach projektów wdrożeniowych. (abstrakt oryginalny)

Research shows that the expenditure of international companies on IS systems has been gradually growing. There is a common belief that IS development has a direct or indirect impact on the economic effectiveness of a company. ERP and CRM class systems constitute one of the most important groups of management support information systems in service and manufacturing companies. A lot of research is aimed at developing models that allow us to identify the correlation between expenditure on ERP and CRM systems and the economic benefits to a company. Nevertheless, we need to underline that the result of this research is not evident. The research is characterised by a lack of consensus between representatives of science, as well as professionals. The subject matter mentioned below is one of the priorities facing the further development of business informatics. The author of this article presents the result of research related to the economic effectiveness evaluation in IS investments in ERP and CRM systems implementation in Poland. The research conducted will help better understand the logic predominant amongst Polish entrepreneurs and management in the realisation of IS investments and economic evaluation of performed investments in ERP and CRM systems.
