(fragment tekstu)

This paper addresses the issue of methodological challenges facing the analysis of political reality conducted from the perspective of complexity theory. Its central idea is the assumption that we are dealing with salient changes in the structure of power at different levels: local, national, global and, at the same time, the emergence of new forms of political power and governance of a decentralized and network nature. The emergence of new power structures is not driving out the state: instead, the new structures appear alongside and above the state. This paper shows how using complexity theory and network analysis we can explain political phenomena, such as those, for instance, which are related to the globalization process. (original abstract)
