The article explores the presence of foreign direct investment among Asian companies in central and eastern Europe (CEE). It primarily discusses the possible reasons of Asian firms to undergo direct investments in several countries in CEE, regarding the move as an expansion strategy in the European Union market. Specifically, it delves into Polish's forms of direct investments, major fields of investments and the country's future in direct investments. (original abstract)
