Solving capital problems is vital for almost all entrepreneurs, especially when they involve a high level of innovation. The main solution which leads to creating a mature innovative firm is a venture capital involvement in the form of business angels, venture capital funds or seed funds. Business angels in Poland have developed slowly, but lately there is a noticed growth of interest from either entrepreneurs or capital owners. An increased growth of business angels and business angel network activities has been caused by Poland joining the EU. The first 6 months of 2007 has seen the creation of three business angel networks in Poland. Together with more innovations and the possibility of financing such activity from EU funds, the business angel networks have sprouted all over the country.(original abstract)

Najbardziej trudnymi dla innowacyjnych przedsiębiorców są problemy kapitałowe. Rozwiązaniem coraz częściej stosowanym jest zaangażowanie kapitałowe funduszy zalążkowych, aniołów biznesu u fundusze venture capital. W Polsce ostatnio notuje się wzrost zainteresowania i ze strony przedsiębiorców i ze strony posiadaczy kapitału aniołami biznesu, głównie na skutek wejścia Polski do UE. W połowie 2007 r. w Polsce funkcjonowały 3 sieci aniołów biznesu, a działalność rozpoczęło także kilka sieci regionalnych finansowanych ze środków unijnych.(abstrakt oryginalny)
