Abstrakty

W artykule dokonano analizy zmian produktywności w czasie wybranych przedsiębiorstw z listy 500 "Rzeczpospolitej" za pomocą indeksu Malmquista i metody DEA. Wyniki zestawiono z klasycznymi miernikami efektywności, tj. ROA oraz ilorazem przychodów i aktywów. Metoda DEA przez jednoczesną analizę kilku mierników aktywności gospodarczej pozwala na bardziej obiektywną oceną i uwzględnienie mocnych stron każdego przedsiębiorstwa. Połączenie metody DEA i indeksu Malmquista umożliwia ocenę zmiany względnej produktywności w czasie z jednoczesnym określeniem czynników wpływających na tę zmianę, takich jak zmiana technologii czy czysta zmiana produktywności.(abstrakt oryginalny)

In this paper the changes in productivity of enterprises selected from a list of 500 by "Rzeczpospolita" were analyzed using DEA methods and Malmquist index. The results were compared with conventional measures of performance such as ROA and the ratio of income and assets. DEA method by the simultaneous analysis of several indicators of economic activity provides more objective assessment and gives the possibility to take into account strengths of every company. The combination of DEA method and Malmquist index allows not only to assess the changes in relative productivity but also determine the factors affecting the change (the change of technology or pure productivity change).(original abstract)
