Znaczenie studium przypadku jako metody badawczej w naukach o zarządzaniu

Abstrakty

Studium przypadku, mimo ogromnej popularności, jest krytykowane - jako jego wady wskazuje się brak rzetelności naukowej i solidnych podstaw do generalizacji wniosków. W rzeczywistości jednak metoda ta jest bardzo przydatnym sposobem rozwiązywania nie tylko problemów naukowych, ale również praktycznych. Głównym celem niniejszego artykułu jest wyjaśnienie nieścisłości w rozumieniu studium przypadku. Intencją autora jest również usystematyzowanie wiedzy z zakresu tej metody, określenie jej miejsca w metodologii nauk oraz ocena jej przydatności w badaniach naukowych. (fragment tekstu)
