Abstrakty
Historia związków pomiędzy szkolą austriacką a polską myślą ekonomiczną liczy sobie sto lat. Rozpoczyna się w 1893 r., kiedy to Włodzimierz Czerkawski publikuje Teorię czystego dochodu z ziemi. W Teorii... Stanowi próbę bliższego scharakteryzowania jednego z głównych źródeł inspiracji prac W. Czerkawskiego, T. Brzeskiego, A. Heydla, F. Zweiga i innych. (fragment tekstu)
The article is dealing with a historical analysis of relations between the Austrian School - in particular, the works of Carl Menger, the founder of that School in political economy - and the Cracow School in Polish economic thought. Part one presents in a concise way the basic methodological and theoretical concepts of Menger: the principle of methodological individualism and the idea of economy as an "organized complexity", as well as the subjectivist principle and the idea of a spontaneous order. In part two the author tries to find Mengerian inspirations in works of economists of the Cracow School. He points out that the influence of Menger and the Austrian School is visible in works by W. Czerkawski, F. Zweig and A. Heydel, representatives of the Cracow School, in the sphere of both methodological and theoretical analyses, and especially in the theory of value and distribution and in the economic theory of institutions.
