Abstrakty
W pracy podano informację o "rangowaniu" procesów wieloetapowych. Mogą to być pewne procesy losowe, procesy prognoz lub procesy decyzyjne. Nie zajmujemy się zadaniami prognostycznymi jako takimi, wiążąc je raczej z modelowaniem preferencji w przestrzeniach realizacji planów i badaniem struktury odpowiednich funkcjonałów użyteczności. Istotę tzw. użyteczności dynamicznej stanowi segmentacja czasu procesów wraz z sukcesywną agregacją preferencji i ich numerycznych reprezentacji. Wychodząc z założenia, że pedantyczny formalizm może czasami przesłonić istotne elementy zagadnienia, autor zdecydował się na eseistyczną konwencję narracji: jest to hasłowa prezentacja pewnych faktów teoretycznych, po trosze - nota bibliograficzna. Rozważania mają charakter heurystyczny, odwołujemy się jednak do standardowych pojęć, terminów i symboliki matematycznej, do minimum ograniczamy wszak ich objaśnianie. Nie przeprowadzamy dyskusji formalnej poprawności określeń, nie dowodzimy twierdzeń. (fragment tekstu)
