Features of small business development in Russia. In today's economy, small business makes a significant contribution to shaping the resource base of all economically developed countries in the world welfare and social stability, is of great importance for the formation of a competitive economy. In developed countries the share of small businesses accounts for 90% of all enterprises, more than 50% of GDP produced, 50-70% of the employed population, about 30% of export products manufacturing. The turnover of small enterprises in Russia6 reached in 2008 18,727.6 billion rubles, the number of small businesses grew to 1.3 million, the average number of employees - 10.4 million people, having increased 1.6 times and 1. 7 times respectively compared to 1998(fragment of text)
