Abstrakty
Zgodnie z nurtem New Public Management, jednostki samorządu terytorialnego powinny konsultować się z interesariuszami, zwiększając stopień reagowania na potrzeby i oczekiwania odbiorców usług, co powinno przełożyć się na zwiększenie poziomu zaufania, bowiem w tych obszarach działania gdzie zaangażowanie publiczności jest większe, jednostki samorządu terytorialnego odnoszą większe sukcesy niż tam, gdzie poziom zaangażowania jest niższy. Realizacja idei partycypacji publicznej wymaga przede wszystkim komunikowania się jednostek samorządu z publicznością, a szerzej - budowania właściwych relacji. W niniejszym opracowaniu zaprezentowano wyniki badań w zakresie stosowania narzędzi public relations przez jednostki administracji samorządowej w celu zwiększenia partycypacji publicznej.
