W niniejszym artykule omówiono organizację Punktu Konsultacyjnego w Zakopanem i jego bazę materialną. Następnie przedstawiono rekrutację do Punktu Konsultacyjnego oraz kadrę dydaktyczną.

The article offers both a synthetic and a complex assessment of the dydactic activities at the tourist course of the extra mural studies. In the first part, it presents the conditions which led to the setting up of the extra-mural course of a new and unique speciality preparing future staff to service holiday makers. The article contains a thorough presentation of the organization of the Consulting Centre in Zakopane, with a wide-ranging analysis of its material basis, recruitment of candidates for courses in the Centre and assessment of the teaching staff. There is also presented the organization of the dydactic process, the curriculum and teaching effectiveness. Several issues are further exemplified with charts and tables. The analysis possesses a documentary value since the courses have been suspended after ten years as a consequence of insufficient number of prospective candidates for the course. (original abstract)
