Abstrakty

Variety of information platforms, standards of data exchange, programming environments and applications frequently enable companies for effective running of business. For every system there should be adapted information infrastructure what is often connected with huge costs, long period of implementation and small flexibility of solution. The way to solve many problems of applied in B2B sector Information Technology may be Web services. As it was indicated in the article, the idea of WS is about automatic integration of heterogeneous business applications. Those services enable for standardized communication between applications written in different languages and for different platforms. Nowadays it is the most important technology supporting integration of IS. WS create new distribution channel of information, services and goods via Internet, which can be used by clients, partners, suppliers' contractors of a company from different branches. However, as specialists claim, this technology has long way of development in the future. Moreover the problem is in information security issue. WS are undoubtedly technology which is not fully mature, therefore exist certain security holes. However new proposal of standards appear which have to fulfill these and others imperfections and restrictions in functionality of Web services. (fragment tekstu)
