The author identifies and analyses methods used for the evaluation of technical innovations in European strategic research programmes at different stages of their execution (ex-ante, on-going, mid-term, ex-post). The analysis is based on 19 evaluation reports elaborated between the years 1997-2012. The author pays a special attention to the frequency of the application of the methods identified, which are commonly used for the evaluation of any monothematic research project, not necessary of strategic character, and proposes the additional, non-standard methods that should be used in order to precisely assess the technical innovations.(original abstract)

W artykule autor identyfikuje i poddaje analizie metody wykorzystywane w ewaluacji europejskich strategicznych programów badawczych na różnych etapach ich realizacji (ex-ante, on-going, mid-term, ex-post). Analiza bazuje na 19 raportach ewaluacyjnych opracowanych w latach 1997-2012. Autor zwraca szczególną uwagę na częstotliwość stosowania zidentyfikowanych metod, które są powszechnie stosowane w ewaluacji monotematycznych projektów badawczych, niekoniecznie o charakterze strategicznym, oraz proponuje włączenie w proces ewaluacji metod niestandardowych, które ukierunkowane są na szczegółową ocenę innowacji technicznych stanowiących rezultat programów strategicznych.(abstrakt oryginalny)
