Abstrakty

The country-of-origin (COO) effect has been one of the most widely analyzed phenomena in the international marketing and consumer behavior literatures. However, it is scarcely researched in the context of higher education services. The importance of international trade in this field is growing which manifests itself by increasing demand from people who undertake studies at foreign universities and strong competitions between institutions which would like to attract such students. The purpose of this paper is to present the theoretical and empirical achievements in the field of COO in the international services of higher education based on the available literature of the subject, indicate gaps and propose future research problems.(original abstract)
