Abstrakty

Procesy globalizacji w ostatnich latach aktywnie przeobrażają poszczególne sektory gospodarki światowej, dokonują tym samym również transformacji obszaru związanego z rynkiem akcji. Ich dobitnym przejawem jest trwająca, lub już przeprowadzona, demutualizacja poszczególnych giełd papierów wartościowych, która została zainicjowana przez podmioty wywodzące się z krajów posiadających dojrzałe rynki kapitałowe. Proces koncentruje się na przekształceniu dotychczasowej struktury własnościowej oraz porzuceniu formuły organizacji non-profit na rzecz instytucji dochodowej, ukierunkowanej na dynamiczny rozwój i ekspansję zagraniczną. The international regulated share market is at present subject to intensive transformation processes aimed at increasing the level of its transnational integration. They are to a large extent a result of the growing liberalisation of law in the area of capital flow freedom and the achievements of IT revolution. A distinct indication of these transformations is reflected in mutual takeovers and mergers of security exchanges which were usually preceded by the demutualisation of these entities. They also result from the growing competition among not only traditionally perceived stock exchanges but also other institutions organising trade on the regulated share markets by means of electronic computer networks. The analysis of these phenomena induces attempts to predict the further steps of the ongoing evolution as well as its future impact on the world economy. While the process of further transnational consolidation of this sector seems inevitable, due to the relation between the share market and the real economy, its effects should be incessantly monitored and effectively corrected by international institutions.(original abstract)
