The study deals with a problem of participation of labour in economic results of different kinds of service activities. There are considered relations of earnings and gross value added. The analysis is conducted adopting a method of regional comparisons between Podkarpacie and the other Polish provinces. There is verified a hypothesis about relatively lower participation of labour in results in the most modern service branches in Podkarpacie. The results of research based on data for a period 2005-2011 extracted from CSO database indicate rather opposite relations. It suggests positive perspectives for future development of Podkarpacie(author's abstract)
