On Some Aspects of the Monte Carlo Method
Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
Omówiono analizę metody Monte Carlo dla równania Laplace'a. Następnie przedstawiono błądzenie przypadkowe jako proces Markowa.
The purpose of the paper is to present the well- known Monte Carlo methods in a more general context. The classical Monte Carlo methods of solving the Dirichlet problem for the Laplace equation are presented from the aspect of their connections with other branches of mathematics, in particular with mathematical statistics and the theory of Markov's chains.
