Pomimo rosnącego zainteresowania zarządzania talentami w organizacjach do tej pory niewiele uwagi poświęcono kwestiom związanym z determinantami kształtującymi programy rozwoju najbardziej wartościowych pracowników w organizacji. Główne cele artykułu to przedstawienie zarządzania talentami jako czynnika umożliwiającego osiąganie sukcesu przez organizację oraz zaproponowanie metodyki badania wewnątrzorganizacyjnych uwarunkowań programów zarządzania talentami. Pierwszy z celów jest realizowany dzięki krytycznej analizie literatury dotyczącej fundamentów zarzadzania talentami i zarządzania strategicznego. Drugi z celów jest realizowany dzięki wykorzystaniu wyników badań empirycznych prowadzonych w 2012 roku. W wyniku przeprowadzonych analiz wskazano, że zarządzanie talentami może stanowić źródło osiągania przez organizacje przewagi konkurencyjnej oraz zaprezentowano propozycję doboru miar dla zmiennych stanowiących kluczowe determinanty programów zarządzania talentami: strategii, struktury, kultury, charakterystyk organizacji. Despite growing interest in talent management so far little attention has been paid to issues related to determinants of organizational programs aiming at the development of most valuable employees. Main aims of the paper are to present talent management as a factor of organizational success as well as suggestion of measures of talent management interorganizational determinants. The first of aims is realized through critical analysis of talent management and strategic management literature. The second aim is achieved by the use of empirical research results carried on in 2012. Research results allow statement that talent management may become a source of competitive advantage and it was possible to present proposition of measures for key determinants of talent management programs: strategy, structure, culture, and organizational characteristics.(original abstract)
