Shaping of Development Trends of Tourist Traffic (TT) in Banská Bystrica and its Recreational Background out of Geographic Tourist Traffic and Movement View.

Important and serious civil, political and economical changes after the year 1989 has brought great expectations also on to the field of development of tourist traffic around us. Attractive nature potential of Slovakia, extensive cultural and historical structure of the towns, cities and communities, as well as tradition of Slovak welcomely, hospitability and heartiness found great expectations for building up of operating tourist traffic industry in early 90-ties. A lot of changes of Slovak tourist traffic and movement of the towns positively operate. Such examples are renovation of historical centers of the cities (Banská Bystrica was one of the first citiy among Slovakia after historic center renovation), erection and building up of private sales network and services, diverting of tranzit traffic (somewhere city transport traffic service) out of historical centers, institutionalization of autonomy management of tourist traffic of the town (Culture Information Centers), etc.. Other changes has brought negative issues. Examples of such negative issues is undersized highway cross connection of the Banská Bystrica region, poor immage building and presentation of town tourist traffic, live issue of static car traffic, insufficient development of basic services of tourist traffic out of quantity and quality aspects, oriantation towards passive tourist traffic movement, increasing of income taxation of services, insuifficient and poor security standards, comfort.(fragment of text)
