Teoria racjonalnych oczekiwań

Abstrakty
Celem pracy jest prezentacja fragmentu współczesnej ekonomii niemarksistowskiej: teorii racjonalnych oczekiwań oraz próba określenia jej miejsca w rozwoju myśli ekonomicznej. Sama prezentacja nie jest zadaniem łatwym, ponieważ hipoteza racjonalnych oczekiwań związana jest z ilościowym nurtem badań w ekonomii, a więc charakteryzuje się wysokim stopniem sformalizowania rozważań. W pracy świadomie ograniczono do minimum część matematyczną teorii racjonalnych oczekiwań, koncentrując się raczej na analizie skutków stosowania ilościowych metod badawczych w zakresie wyboru obszaru badań oraz sposobów formułowania wniosków, jak również ich wpływu na integrację poszczególnych kierunków ekonomii. Specjalista w dziedzinie technik badawczych, na przykład ekonometryk czy statystyk, przedstawiłby zapewne dorobek teorii racjonalnych oczekiwań w zupełnie odmienny sposób, wybierając z niego elementy analizy ilościowej, oceniając ich poprawność oraz nowatorstwo w stosunku do metod stosowanych przez poprzedników. Zapewne również w mniejszym stopniu interesowałyby go problemy bardziej ogólne, na przykład zgodności precyzyjnych modeli z rzeczywistością lub wzajemnych relacji między obrazami tej rzeczywistości kreślonymi przez poszczególne kierunki.
