Artykuł niniejszy prezentuje i omawia wynik tychże badań. (abstrakt oryginalny)
Despite its rather brief history, the Internet has truly become an integral part of today's increasingly knowledge - and technology - based economy. Its impact on the social and political aspects of our lives is evident. It changes our personal life styles, our interests, the ways in which we learn, work and rest. It is attractive, but may be dangerous as well. As an Internet user and an academic I want to know how the Internet affects young people's hobbies and interests. As a teacher, I believe that the knowledge on the students' interests has an intrinsic value, regardless of those interests' likely relationships with the Internet. After all, if you want to be a better teacher, you might want to know who you teach in the first place! This is the motivation that fuelled the idea of a statistical survey which I conducted in the spring of 2005 among the students of the Faculty in Chorzow of the Poznan School of Banking. This paper aims to present and comment on the findings of the survey. (original abstract)
