W pierwszym półroczu 1994 utrzymywała się w wyniku niezłych zbiorów w 1993 r. i niskiego poziomu pogłowia trzody chlewnej względna stabilizacja cen zbóż. We wrześniu'94 42,2% rolników objętych badaniem stwierdziło, że ceny żyta nie ulegały zmianie; w odniesieniu do pszenicy odsetek ten był nieco niższy (38,5%). W kolejnych badaniach 1994 (I, III, V, VII) rosnący procent rolników wykazywał niewielki wzrost cen pszenicy i w mniejszym stopniu żyta. Jednak już we wrześniu'94 a tym bardziej w listopadzie zdecydowana przewaga rolników wykazała wzrost cen zbóż, zwłaszcza pszenicy. Był to wynik letniej suszy, która znacząco obniżyła plony i zbiory zbóż. Również w trzymiesięcznych prognozach wykazany został wzrost cen zbóż, jednakże w mniejszym nieco nasileniu. (fragment tekstu)
In the first half of 1994 the prices of cereals were stabilized. It was due to good harvests in 1993 and low level of livestock, especially pigs. In September'94 42.2 per cent of farmers inquired stated that the prices of rye did not change. As concerns the wheat, this percentage was a litlle bit lower (38.5 per cent). In the successive months of 1994 (I, III, V, VII) the increasing percentage of farmers showed the small increase of the prices of wheat and less of rye. However, already in September'94 and even more in November the majority of the farmers showed the increase of prices of the grain, especially of wheat as a result of summer's drought, due to it the harvest of grain was much smaller. Also three months prognosis shows the futher increase of grain's prices but not at so hight rate. (fragment of text)
