Abstrakty

Issues related to social responsibility may be analyzed in relations to single organization or to the whole supply chain. Standards that try to organize the framework for companies which act in a responsible way are focused mainly on single organization and treat suppliers as a one group of stakeholders. Initial stages of product life cycle may be the source of different social or environmental problems. It means that the processes should be analyzed in the whole supply chain instead of in single organization. The paper presents the theoretical model of social responsibility of supply chain. The criteria crucial for implementation and managing of social responsibility and levels of responsibility that might be taken into consideration in supply chains were identified. (original abstract)
