Abstrakty

W ramach studiów literaturowych (desk research) dokonano przeglądu kilkudziesięciu pozycji, w tym polsko- i anglojęzycznych artykułów oraz zwartych opracowań książkowych. Przeprowadzona synteza literatury miała na celu skonkretyzowanie dwóch aspektów zawartych w artykule, a więc: architektury i możliwych przemian w efekcie dostosowań pokryzysowych oraz możliwości zapobiegania kryzysom walutowym, stanowiących przykład zmiany w podejściu do prowadzonej polityki makroekonomicznej w reakcji na kryzys. The paper refers to two important aspects of currency wars: their structure and possible changes resulting from the post -crisis adaptation on one hand, and the possibilities of preventing currency wars on the other. The article argues that using currency rate as an instrument of economic policy may increase as economic growth recovery becomes increasingl dificult. The results of the currency war escalation include protectionism in trade and funds transfer. (original abstract)
