W artykule omówiono zmiany w strukturze gospodarstw pod względem liczby i powierzchni użytkowanych gruntów. Porównano strukturę gospodarstw polskich ze strukturą wybranych krajów Unii Europejskiej. (fragment tekstu)

In Poland after the accession to the European Union transformations are visible in the area structure however which don't cause essential structural transformations in the Polish farming. Integration of Poland with the EU gave essential impulse to implement these changes. However distance within the scope of the area structure between the Polish farming and the farming of countries the EU about the structure moved close, that is competitive of the output, still stays very much significant. It is the greatest lack of the area structure of the Polish farming, that still the majority of resources of the agricultural earth is in dominion of small and average households. Therefore largely of arable farms relations remain imperfect between production factors, peculiarly of work with the earth, and hence a work output and a low level of get profits are low.
