Abstrakty

Artykuł przedstawia różne teorie, głównie ekonomiczne, analizujące demokrację przez pryzmat rynku. Stąd przesłanki ekonomiczne są w omawianych teoriach pierwszoplanowe, ale i zachowania społeczne ludzi znajdują się w polu zainteresowania omawianych teorii. W demokracji istotne są przede wszystkim zachowania wyborców. W omawianych teoriach są one oceniane jako zależne od tego, co się wydarza na rynku i dotyczy bezpośrednio jednostek biorących udział w wyborach. W artykule rozważane są typy osobowości społecznych, które są związane z działaniem na rynku oraz są konsekwencją różnych poglądów politycznych. (abstrakt oryginalny)

This paper presents various theories, mainly economic ones, which study democracy through market. These theories aim at new look at the democracy - its principles of operations and their application, that usually, taking into consideration the needs of the market, want to co-operate in creation of the democracy anew. Therefore, economic prerequisites are crucial in presented theories, thus social behaviours are in the scope of these theories. Voting behaviour seems here to be the most important of social behaviours in democracy. Voting behaviour, including psychological attributes, is assessed in presented theories as strongly dependent on current market status and concerns directly voting individuals. This paper takes into consideration types of social personality, which are connected with market or base themselves on various political views. This paper uses the historical-comparative method to grasp the contents of aforementioned theories, referring to Emile Durkheim's remark about it being the best method in sociological studies.
