Abstrakty

Uczelnie wyższe stają się obecnie jednym z kluczowych graczy w rozwoju gospodarczym. Przedsiębiorczy uniwersytet opisywany jest jako taki, który efektywnie spełnia tzw. trzecią misję. W artykule dokonano przeglądu prowadzonych badań dotyczących procesu wyłaniania się, pochodzenia oraz istoty przedsiębiorczego uniwersytetu, a także wskazówek i warunków umożliwiających promowanie przedsiębiorczość w ramach uczelni wyższych. At present universities become one of the key players in the economic development. The entrepreneurial university is described as such when it effectively fulfils, so called, the third mission. The paper reviews leading research concerning the process of appearing, origin and essence of the entrepreneurial university as well as advice and circumstances making the promotion within universities possible.
