Abstrakty

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań nad wpływem eksportu na wskaźniki rentowności i aktywności gospodarczej podmiotów gospodarczych. Badanie wpływu eksportu na sytuację spółek wykonano, porównując wspomniane wskaźniki pomiędzy eksporterami i nieeksporterami (porównania przeprowadzono za pomocą testu średnich opartego na statystyce t-Studenta), a także za pomocą regresji dla danych panelowych. Dane do badań pochodzą z bazy Notoria Service oraz z raportów SA-R i SA-RS dla 366 spółek notowanych na GPW w Warszawie w latach 2000-2009.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The purpose of the paper is to investigate the impact of export activities on profitability and activity ratios of 366 companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in the years 2000-2009. In order to measure an impact of export activities on profitability and activity of companies, the author applied a t-test to compare above mentioned ratios for exporters and non-exporters. To confirm the t-test findings, panel data models were estimated between financial ratios and export share in sales and industry type. Data used in the research came from the Notoria Service database and annual Warsaw Stock Exchange reports SA-R and SA-RS (annual financial report of a publicly traded company and consolidated annual financial report of a publicly traded company).(original abstract)
