Abstrakty

W ostatnich czterdziestu latach proces globalizacji gospodarki światowej przyczynił się do dynamicznego wzrostu bezpośrednich inwestycji zagranicznych, głównie w krajach rozwijających się. Zjawisko to wystąpiło również w krajach Ameryki Południowej, które na przełomie lat 80. i 90. ubiegłego wieku rozpoczęły proces transformacji swoich gospodarek i w związku z tym zaczęły się otwierać na napływ kapitału w formie BIZ. Głównym krajem, który zaczął przyjmować obcy kapitał było Chile, które już na początku lat 70. XX w. podjęło skutecznie działania w tym kierunku [Młodzianowska, 2007, s. 4], W opracowaniu zostały poddane analizie czynniki, które napędzają prze- pływy BIZ do Ameryki Południowej, łącznie przeanalizowano 10 krajów lego regionu przy użyciu pięcioletnich danych panelowych za lata 1980-2010. In the last forty years, the process of globalization of the world economy has contributed to the rapid growth of foreign direct investment, mainly in developing countries. This phenomenon also occurred in South America, in the late 80s and 90s last century began the process of transforming their economies and, therefore, begun to open up to capital inflows in the form of FDI. The main country that began to accept foreign capital was Chile, which already in the early 70s last century has taken effective action toward. In this article we have analyzed the factors that drive FDI flows to South America, including the analyzed 10 countries in the region with a five-year panel data for the years 1980-2010.
