Abstrakty
Artykuł ma na celu przeanalizowanie strategii produkcji na zamówienie (Build-to-Order) pod kątem przydatności w rozwiązywaniu bieżących problemów przemysłu motoryzacyjnego, w szczególności wielowariantowości produkcji i rosnących kosztów zarządzania złożonością systemów logistycznych. W pracy przedstawiono megatrendy w przemyśle motoryzacyjnym, cechy charakterystyczne strategii BTO, przykłady zastosowania BTO w przemyśle motoryzacyjnym i analizę przydatności cech BTO w poprawie efektywności łańcuchów dostaw w wybranym przemyśle. Article aims to analyze the Build-to-order strategy in terms of usefulness in solving the current problems of the automotive industry, in particular multivariant of production and rising costs of complexity management in logistics systems. The paper presents megatrends in the automotive industry, the characteristics of BTO, examples of applications of it in the automotive industry and the analysis of the characteristics of BTO usefulness in improving the efficiency of supply chains in selected industries.
