Issues linked to the organisation of the knowledge transfer between the supplier and the client in IT implementation projects completed on the basis of outsourcing constitute an interesting research area both for the theoreticians and practitioners of business informatics. The aim of this article is to present the results of research concerning the influence of knowledge transfer on decreasing information asymmetry between the supplier and the client of services provided during the completion of ERP, CRM and DMS-class MIS implementation. An important research result is the procedure of knowledge transfer in an IT implementation project completed through outsourcing, aimed at helping to decrease information asymmetry between the supplier and the client. Zagadnienia związane z organizacją transferu wiedzy między dostawcą a odbiorca w informatycznych przedsięwzięciach wdrożeniowych realizowanych w oparciu o strategię outsourcingu stanowi interesujący obszar badań podejmowanych przez teoretyków informatyki ekonomicznej jak również przez praktyków. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie rezultatów badań dotyczących wpływu transferu wiedzy na zmniejszenie asymetrii informacji pomiędzy dostawcą a odbiorcą usług realizowanych w ramach implementacji systemów informatycznych wspierających zarządzanie klasy ERP, CRM, DMS. Istotnym rezultatem badań jest procedura transferu wiedzy w informatycznym przedsięwzięciu wdrożeniowym realizowanym w oparciu o strategię outsourcingu, która ma pomóc w zmniejszeniu asymetrii informacji pomiędzy dostawcą a odbiorcą.
