This paper describes the concept of stakeholders in strategic management from the perspective of entrepreneurship development. The concept of stakeholders is indicated as a multidimensional construct, showing its components and the relations from previous studies. This article does not exhaust stakeholder concept in strategic management, but determines the background and the direction of research interests, important for the development of entrepreneurship and organizational performance. It presents research intention if organizations which are under greater pressure to create value for stakeholders are effective in relation to companies that are less stakeholders oriented, and whether there is a relation between stakeholders orientation and corporate entrepreneurship, creation and adoption of value and organizational performance. Starting with a critical analysis of the literature, the article presents model, based on the assumption that the performance of the organization has its base in certain entrepreneurial behaviors, that depend on the stakeholders orientation. The construct of stakeholders can act as a facilitator, taking into account that the existence of certain relations depends on the specific configuration of the stakeholders, their resources, competencies and expectations. The development of the company and increase of company performance results in increased conflict of interests. The stimulation of entrepreneurship can be a challenge for managers in relation to reconcile the contradictions that arise at the interface of increase organizational performance and value creation for stakeholders. Based on the secondary research it is assumed that stakeholder orientation moderates the relationship between the level of entrepreneurship and effective value creation and moderates the relationship between the value generated and its retention and company performance.(original abstract)
