Artykuł zawiera interpretację wyników analizy ilościowej i jakościowej przeprowadzonej na podstawie materiałów prasowych poświęconych problematyce stanu wojennego w Polsce, które były publikowane na łamach dziennika "The Times" między 14 a 24 grudnia 1981 r. Obiektywne odczytanie uzyskanych danych dostarczyło odpowiedzi na zasadnicze pytania związane z tym historycznym momentem (abstrakt oryginalny)

This article is to present the results of quantitative and qualitative analysis of the press materials about martial law in Poland published by "The Times" between 14 and 24 December 1981. The study aims at answering the following questions: Which events and issues related to the martial law were reported? What was the stance of "The Times" on the imposition of the martial law?
