Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest ocena stopnia wykorzystania formalnych (prawnych) oraz nieformalnych (strategicznych) instrumentów ochrony własności intelektualnej przez małe i średnie przedsiębiorstwa high-tech w Polsce oraz identyfikacja czynników wpływających na wybór poszczególnych form ochrony. W opracowaniu wykorzystano wyniki badań empirycznych przeprowadzonych w 2012 roku na celowo dobranej próbie 50 MŚP sektora high-tech z terenu całej Polski. Zakres czasowy badań obejmował lata 2009-2011. (fragment tekstu)

The aim of this paper is to evaluate the degree of use of formal (legal) and informal (strategic) instruments for the protection of intellectual property by high-tech small and medium-sized enterprise in Poland, and to identify the factors influencing the choice of particular forms of protection. In the study the results of surveys conducted in 2012 among intentionally selected group of 50 high technology SMEs were used. Time range of research covered the period 2009-2011. The results allow us to conclude that, although the surveyed companies use a fairly wide range of legal instruments for the protection of intellectual property, however, much more important to them are informal mechanisms.
