Practical Aspects Of Smart City Development On The Example Of Barcelona

Abstrakty
Koncepcja smart city jest pod względem teoretycznym dobrze rozpoznana, jednak brak jednoznacznej definicji pojęcia oraz różne podejścia do czynników wpływających na rozwój miasta inteligentnego powodują, że w praktyce etykieta smart w odniesieniu do wielu jednostek terytorialnych jest nadużywana. Kreowanie miasta inteligentnego jest procesem długookresowym, związanym z zaplanowaniem nowej struktury miejskiej, przebudową różnych systemów jego funkcjonowania oraz współpracą z interesariuszami wewnętrznymi i zewnętrznymi. Budowa miasta inteligentnego jest realizacją określonej strategii działania, a jej wyrazem są wdrażane projekty, pozwalające na usprawnienie systemów miejskich, oparte na zaawansowanych technologiach. W długim okresie może przynieść wymierne korzyści ekonomiczne i społeczne. Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja i ocena konkretnych inicjatyw oraz programów realizowanych przez władze lokalne w Barcelonie w kontekście budowy i rozwoju miasta inteligentnego(abstrakt oryginalny)
The smart city concept is in theory well recognized, but there is no clear definition of this term and a different approach to the factors affecting the inteligent city development causes that in practice the label of smart city is misused. The smart city development is connected with a particular strategy of urban development that results in the implemention of various projects based on advanced technologies. The purpose of this article is to identify and evaluate specific initiatives and programs implemented by local authorities in Barcelona in the context of smart city development(original abstract)
