Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest analiza wykorzystania euro jako waluty pełniącej funkcje waluty występującej równolegle z walutami krajowymi. Szczególny nacisk kładzie się na ocenę roli wspólnej waluty europejskiej jako waluty wykorzystywanej nieoficjalnie w obiegu gotówkowym i w substytucji aktywów i zobowiązań oraz jednostronnej euroizacji. Podstawowe metody badawcze wykorzystane w pracy to studia światowej literatury oraz analiza danych statystycznych Podstawowymi źródłami danych statystycznych były publikacje Europejskiego Banku Centralnego. The paper discusses the usage of the euro as a parallel currency in third countries. The main stress is put on the assessment of the use of euro banknotes and the use of euro-denominated bank deposits and loans outside the euro area. The paper is based on the international literature and statistical data. Main sources of necessary data were taken from publications delivered by European Central Bank. (original abstract)
