W praktyce dydaktycznej często próbuje się opracować takie zadania polecające wyznaczenie parametrów klasyczny mnk, żeby po rozwiązaniu zadań okazywało się, że parametry wyrażają się "prostymi" liczbami (np. liczbami całkowitymi). Parametry modelu używane są bowiem zwykle do dalszych obliczeń i "proste" liczby są wygodne. W artykule chcemy przedstawić pewne podejście do opracowywania takich zadań wykorzystujące własności układu równań normalnych. (fragment tekstu)

In the paper there is presented the problem of generating such a statistical material that the least squares method gives estimates in the form of "simple numbers", and the models themselves have some additional properties. The following conditions are given: - for the vector of numbers to be a vector of residuals of an econometric model of given "simple" estimates obtainable by standard least square method on the basis of statistical material {y|X}, where x stands for a given matrix of observations on exogeneous variables, and y stands for a vector of observation on endogeneous variable dependent on the residuals vector; - for the vectors of numbers to be columns of a matrix X, which is the basis for standard least squares method to produce "simple" estimates of parameters and the given residuals vector. Certain suggestions concerning the generation of statistical material providing "simple" least square estimates of parameters of linear econometric models, a given variance of disturbance terms, a given estimate of coefficient of autocorrelation of disturbance terms and a given coefficient of determination are also given in the paper.
