Abstrakty
Artykuł ma na celu przybliżenie interfejsów mózg-komputer (ang. Brain-Computer Interfaces - BCI) i jednego z urządzeń tego typu - Emotiv EPOC. Możliwość wykorzystania jedynie fal mózgowych w komunikacji z różnymi urządzeniami wydaje się obiecująca, jeśli chodzi o osoby niepełnosprawne. W ramach przedstawionego projektu, po przeglądzie dotychczasowo dostępnych opcji wsparcia, powstały dwie aplikacje ułatwiające korzystanie z komputera przez osoby niepełnosprawne o obniżonych możliwościach motorycznych. Brain-Computer Interfaces can be used in many different ways. This paper attempts to present the most important applications of a device of this kind - the Emotiv EPOC. Potentially, the most significant application is in helping disabled people realize the possibility of using only brain waves to communicate with different devices. That is why, after research done on the available options, there were two applications created that would facilitate the use of a computer (original abstract)
