Waste Electric and Electronic Appliances as a Global Economic and Ecological Problem

Abstrakty
Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie wyników badań dotyczących zakresu zastosowania elektronicznych systemów zamawiania leków (ESZL) w aptekach dolnośląskich oraz zbadanie rodzajów wykorzystywanych programów magazynowych. Jest on kontynuacją rozważań teoretycznych, związanych z charakterystyką elektronicznych systemów zamawiania leków, która została przedstawiona w artykule autorów zamieszczonym w poprzednim numerze "Gospodarki Materiałowej i Logistyki". Tam też dokładnie omówiono istotę wykorzystania ESZL, wykorzystywane moduły w systemie i powiązania między nimi, charakterystykę najczęściej wykorzystywanego oprogramowania dostępnego na rynku polskim oraz etapy związane z zamawianiem leków drogą elektroniczną. A demand for commonly used electric and electronic appliances grows rapidly but the period of their exploatation is now getting shorter. This phenomen is creating a problem of disposing of this rapidly growing specific kind of waste. In the first article from a series, author explains why this kind of waste is so serious problem. The three main reasons are: rapid increase in amount of waste, danger of traditional disposal such as burning or landfill and wasteful use of precisious resources. This problem author illustrates by example of worldwide use of personal computers and mobile phones. (original abstract)
