Innovation transfer between supply chains is a substantial issue from the perspective of managing the process of innovation diffusion. In the light of this article the transfer of innovations between supply chains can take place within or between industries. The analysed examples concerned the transfer of innovations of entire business models, which also resulted in implementing the procedural innovations, operational innovations and resources. The issues presented in this article, such as the suggestion to classify the innovation in the supply chain, the definition of innovation transfer between supply chains as well as the construction of the model of innovation transfer between supply chains constitute a springboard for further research in this area.(fragment of text)

Artykuł omawia kwestie istotne z perspektywy zarządzania transferem innowacji pomiędzy łańcuchami dostaw. Poruszono w nim zagadnienia związane z obecnymi tendencjami w kategoryzowaniu innowacji oraz zaproponowano klasyfikację innowacji przystającą do specyfiki łańcucha dostaw. Przedstawiono także definicję transferu innowacji pomiędzy łańcuchami dostaw, istotę modeli oraz propozycję modelowego ujęcia transferu innowacji pomiędzy łańcuchami dostaw. W artykule wykorzystano przykłady transferu innowacji do łańcucha dostaw Toyoty i Zary. (abstrakt oryginalny)
