Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest zbadanie efektywności procesu zarządzania popytem na produkty w trzech wybranych łańcuchach dostaw z branży odzieżowej, meblarskiej i motoryzacyjnej. Za pomocą metody punktowej zostanie oceniona efektywność tego procesu w kontekście trzech elementów, do których zalicza się wejście, transformację i wyjście procesu. Aby osiągnąć ten cel, prezentowane treści podzielono na dwie główne części. Pierwsza część to rozważania teoretyczne na temat procesu zarządzania popytem oraz jego efektywności. Druga - przedstawienie studium przypadków i dokonanie oceny procesów zarządzania popytem na produkty realizowanych w wybranych łańcuchach dostaw. (fragment tekstu)

One of the eight key processes in today's supply chain management is the demand management process. It includes a sequence of activities from the identification of objectives and strategies by determining forecasting procedures, the flow of information, synchronization, emergency management, to the development of a system of indicators and measures that control the correctness of the whole process. However, in different industries this process is driven in different way. Therefore, the question arises - how the effectiveness of the demand management process in the supply chains should be measured and compared with similar processes implemented in other companies? The goal of the paper is to analyse the effectiveness of the demand management process for the three selected industries: clothing, furniture and automotive. To achieve the goal, the case studies will be presented and the effectiveness of the demand management processes for selected supply chains will be compared by using a scoring method.(original abstract)
