This article will present the idea of supplier parks together with the process of their evolution. This article aims to show that supplier parks contribute significantly to the growth of production flexibility level in the automotive industry, what affects the competitiveness of supply chains in the industry. Celem artykułu jest prezentacja parków dostawców jako elementu współczesnych strategii logistycznych w przemyśle motoryzacyjnym. Na wstępie przedstawiona została idea elastyczności produkcji jako głównego czynnika budującego przewagę konkurencyjną w łańcuchach dostaw. W dalszej części artykułu zawarto definicję parków dostawców i ich typologię jako przykład jednego z rozwiązań w obszarze elastyczności produkcji, przedstawiono także proces ewolucji oraz przykłady z przemysłu motoryzacyjnego.
