Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja dysproporcji w rozwoju sektora wysokich technologii pomiędzy dwudziestoma ośmioma krajami Unii Europejskiej w 2013 roku, poprzez zbudowanie wybranej miary syntetycznej i uszeregowanie ich zgodnie z oszacowanymi wartościami tejże miary. Operacjonalizacja badań uwzględnia szereg cech diagnostycznych opisujących sektor wysokich technologii w gospodarkach krajów członkowskich UE wraz z próbą wyjaśnienia determinant ich pozycji w utworzonym rankingu. W badaniu wykorzystano syntetyczną miarę rozwoju Hellwiga, będącą jedną z grupy metod wzorcowych porządkowania liniowego. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The main objective of this study is to identify disparities in the development of high-tech industries between twenty eight European Union countries in 2013, by building a selected synthetic measure and prioritize them according to the estimated values of these measures. Operationalization of the research takes into account a number of diagnostic variables describing the high-tech sector in the EU member states, along with the attempt to explain the determinants of their position in the created ranking. The study used a Hellwig's synthetic measure of development, which is one of the reference methods of linear ordering. (original abstract)
