Abstrakty

Bezpośrednie inwestycje zagraniczne (BIZ) należą do podstawowych form przepływów kapitałowych w gospodarce światowej. Do przełomu lat 80. i 90. XX w. miejscem lokalizacji BIZ były głównie kraje wysoko rozwinięte, a także wybrane kraje rozwijające się z Azji i Ameryki Południowej. Inwestycje w krajach Afryki Subsaharyjskiej stanowiły zjawisko marginalne. BIZ będąc istotnym kanałem transferu m.in. kapitału mogą odgrywać istotną rolę w rozwoju gospodarczym tych krajów. Kapitał w rozwoju gospodarczym jest jednym z istotniejszych czynników, który sprawia, że dynamika rozwoju gospodarczego wzrasta. Problematyka poruszana w artykule dotyczy motywów i barier inwestowania w Afryce Subsaharyjskiej (ASS).(abstrakt oryginalny)

Foreign direct investment (FDI) belong to the basic forms of capital flows in the global economy. Until the turn of the 80s and 90s the location of FDI were mainly developed countries and selected developing countries in Asia and South America. Investment in Sub-Saharan Africa accounted for a marginal phenomenon. FDI being an important channel for transferring among others of capital, can play an important role in the economic development of these countries. Capital in economic development is one of the most important factors that makes the dynamics of economic development increase. The issues raised in the article concerns the motives and barriers to investment in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).(original abstract)
