The article attempts to analyse existing approaches to management support of sustainable development particularly with use of tools based on neural networks. The article uses the analysis of literature to exemplify the implementation of computer-aided regional governance in the context of implementation of the principles of sustainable development. The added value is the presentation of examples of the usage of neural networks for programming of sustainable development at the regional level. (original abstract)
