Omówiono mechanizmy powstawania braków danych w analizie danych. Przedstawiono różne kategorie metod analizy danych niepewnych, zwracając szczególną uwagę na metody imputacji.

Missing data is the more and more frequent phenomena in questionnaire surveys. The most popular analytical strategy in that case is a complete-case analysis. In this strategy the analysis is based on the fully observed cases, missing records are omitted. This approach leads usually to the wrong statistical inferences. The paper presents one group of methods, which are especially designed to analyse missing data - methods of imputation. In the imputation methods missing elements in the data are estimated and then those estimates are used in the analysis. The practical ехатріе (simulation) presented in the paper presents how the type of method used to analyse missing data (complete-case analysis, imputation method) can affect the results of modelling in the simple linear regression model.
