In this perspective paper, the authors present a learning challenge created by Industry 4.0 and how CSR may respond to this challenge. They present employees as a major group of stakeholders that could be affected by implementation of Industry 4.0 due to challenges it imposes and how CSR policy may help to address the issue. First, the authors refer to CSR and stakeholders theory. Then, they indicate the macro-environmental and workforce challenges produced by Industry 4.0, especially a learning challenge. Finally, they attempt to look at the role of CSR with regard to a learning challenge in Industry 4.0.(original abstract)
